DGS "Give Me 5" Program

Denver Green School realizes that parent engagement is necessary to increase children’s success in school. Our community encourages every adult that is involved in a DGS child’s life to participate in the Give Me Five program. This means you!

Our goal is to create a culture of community and support for our students and their education through volunteerism at the Denver Green School! Whether it is helping in the classroom, assisting with a PTA program, organizing a DGS event or dozens of other opportunities, it is all important and it all counts. We have many choices of volunteer activities that need your special talents and skills.

Give Me Five is a part of the our culture. DGS students use this phrase everyday to get engaged in and out of the classroom.  We would love for you to use this as a way to engage along with the students. Joining this Give Me Five volunteer program is an effort not only from you, but a gift to your child and a commitment to our school community. We ask you to volunteer a minimum of five (5) hours of your time during the 2016-2017 school year in activities at, or on behalf of, DGS. Our goal this school year is to have 100% participation in asking EVERY parent/guardian at DGS to Volunteer 5 hours to the school-or 2,595 Volunteer Hours.

THANK YOU DGS parent/guardians for making this important contribution to our school. Here are some "Give Me Five" Opportunities coming up:
