School Choice

SchoolChoice

The DPS SchoolChoice Round2 for the 23/24 school year is now open, so now is the time to begin researching the best schools for your student. The DPS Great Schools Enrollment Guide is a great place to start!

SchoolChoice is as easy as Find, Apply, Register!

Here’s how it works:

  • FIND the best DPS school for your student by reading the Enrollment Guide, using the mobile-friendly School Finder, and contacting schools directly.

  • APPLY by ranking your top schools using the online SchoolChoice application. Visit the SchoolChoice website to create an account and access the application.

  • REGISTER for your school after you get your school placement results.

Neighborhood Seats

All kindergarten through 8th grade students are guaranteed a seat at their neighborhood, or boundary, school. Students living within an enrollment zone have a seat at one of the schools within the zone, not just at one particular school. To find your neighborhood school or to learn if you live in an enrollment zone, enter your address at School Finder.

School mint

DPS is introducing an online, mobile-friendly tool which families will use to submit your SchoolChoice application. Because of this change to an online application process, lots of resources will be available for families, including the SchoolChoice telephone hotline (720)423-3493 and access to computer labs.

The links listed below will help you with the online School Choice process.

SchoolChoice Navigation: is a tool to help you navigate through the online SchoolChoice process.

Create a Parent Portal: If your student is a current DPS student you must have a Parent Portal to begin the SchoolChoice Process.

Please call the Choice office if you have any questions at 720-423-3493 You can also email schoolchoice@dpsk12.org, or visit schoolchoice.dpsk12.org.
